UND reveals its 2020-2021 men's hockey schedule

 

The University of North Dakota Athletic Department has released the 2020-2021 University of North Dakota men’s hockey schedule.

The 2020-2021 season will begin on Saturday, October 3 with a home matchup exhibition game against the University of Manitoba at the Ralph Engelstad Arena.

Other highlights in the schedule include a showdown in Nashville, Tenn., against the Penn State Nittany Lions on October 17; a home series against the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers on October 23-24; a road series against Cornell on October 30-31; and the annual game against the US Under 18s, who come to Ralph Engelstad Arena on December 12.

The NCHC Frozen Faceoff, which was cancelled due to COVID-19 this season, will again be held at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center on the weekend of March 19, with the winner receiving an automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament. As was in 2018-2019, the University of North Dakota will host an NCAA Regional at Fargo’s Scheels Arena on the weekend of March 26, with the Frozen Four being played in Pittsburgh, Penn., beginning on April 8.
