With the announcement Monday morning that the Pioneer Football League would move to conference-only for the fall football season, NDSU's lone remaining non-conference football game against the Drake Bulldogs, scheduled for September 12 at the Fargodome, has been canceled.
On a related note, the Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) Presidents Council has determined patience is warranted regarding any decision to modify the 2020 Fall season, seeing merit in delaying as long as there remains a possibility to provide a safe competitive opportunity for MVFC student-athletes.
The Bison are now slated to begin the season September 26 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, taking on the University of Northern Iowa Panthers.
