UND RB Otis Weah Has Been Named A Stats Perform FCS First Team All-American

     University of North Dakota redshirt sophomore running back Otis Weah has solidified himself as one of the top backs in the FCS. His latest achievement helped cement his case as he was named to the Stats Perform FCS First Team All-American Team. This is Weah’s first All-American honor.

     Weah is a Moorhead, Minn. native and is also the first running back to earn an All-American selection for UND since the program moved to Division I in 2008. This season he helped UND advance to the FCS quarterfinals for the first time in program history. He led the Missouri Valley in rushing yards (790), yards per carry (7.16), rushing touchdowns (9), yards per game (104.3), and total touchdowns (9).Weah was ranked in the top-5 running backs in the country in total yards, yards per carry, and touchdowns. He also scored a touchdown in every game this season.

     Weah was runner-up for the Missouri Valley Football Conference’s Player of the Year along with being fifth in voting for the Walter Payton Award.
