Tod Brown Has Been Named The New Head Coach At New Mexico

     Former North Dakota State Bison baseball head coach Tod Brown has been named the new head coach at the University of New Mexico.

     Brown led the Bison for the past 14 seasons posting an overall record of 341-350 (.493). He also led NDSU to a Summit League Championship and NCAA Tournament berths in 2012 and 2021. The Bison also had three of the top-five seasons in program history under Coach Brown, including the two highest winning seasons in program history in 2012 (40) and 2021 (42). In the last 10 years NDSU has posted a 96-48 record at Newman Outdoor Field. He is also third in total wins in Summit League history along with second in league wins with 170.

     In 2021 the Bison set a school record for wins in a single season with 42, played in a school record 61 games, and won the first NCAA Regional game in the Division I era.

     Associate head coach Tyler Oakes has been named NDSU’s interim head coach.
