NDSU’s Rams Have Been Named The MVFC Line of the Week

The North Dakota State offensive line (Rams) had a historic performance in Saturday’s 49-17 victory over Youngstown State.

The Bison racked up 454 yards rushing, the most by a Bison team in a Missouri Valley Conference game since 2008. It’s also the fifth most in a single game by NDSU in the Division 1 era, and their second 400 yard rushing game of the season.

NDSU played 10 offensive linemen in the win at Youngstown State. They are being honored as the Missouri Valley Offensive Line of the Week. This is only the fourth time that a unit has been honored for their collective performance in league history.

The Bison averaged 10.1 yards per carry on 45 carries that included touchdowns from 1, 49, 50, 61, and 84 yards.

No. 4 NDSU (9-1, 6-1 MVFC) will host No. 16 South Dakota (7-3, 5-2 MVFC) in the annual Harvest Bowl game on Saturday, November 20 at 2:30 p.m.
