Eight Bison Have Been Named To HERO Sports FCS All-America Teams

     On Tuesday, December 14 eight NDSU Bison were named to the HERO Sports FCS All-America Teams.

     Fullback Hunter Luepke, wide receiver Christian Watson, right tackle Cordell Volson, and strong safety Michael Tutsie were all named to the All-America first team. This was Tutsie’s first All-America honor, while Volson became the fourth Bison to be named to an All-America team in three different seasons.

     Tight end Noah Gindorff, left tackle Cody Mauch, and defensive end Brayden Thomas were all named to the All-America third team. This is the first All-America honor for all three.

     Defensive tackle Eli Mostaert earned a spot on the Sophomore All-America Team. Mostaert also made the Freshman All-America team in 2020-21.

     No. 2 seeded NDSU is set to host No. 3 seeded James Madison in the NCAA FCS semifinals on Friday, December 17 at 8:15 p.m. Game coverage will be available on ESPN2.
