Six NDSU Bison Have Been Named to the Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Team

     North Dakota State Football leads the nation with six players named to the Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Team.

     Fullback Hunter Luepke, left tackle Cody Mauch, and defensive end Spencer Waege were all named to the first team. Safety Michael Tutsie earned second team honors, while linebacker James Kaczor and punt returner Jayden Price were third teamers.

     Luepke was the Most Outstanding Player in January’s NCAA national championship game. Over the past two seasons he’s been named a postseason first-team All-American by Stats Perform.

     Tutsie was a HERO Sports first-team All-America pick in 2021, while Mauch was named to the Associated Press All-American second team. Price earned Stats Perform third team honors in 2021 and Waege was named a second team All-American in 2020 by the American Football Coaches Association.

     South Dakota State also had six players named to the Stats Perform FCS Preseason All-America Team. The Missouri Valley Football Conference led the FCS with 22 total players honored by Stats Perform.
