(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minnesota football program is scheduling a top tier nonconference opponent, but Gopher fans may have to wait a little bit to see the matchup.
The Golden Gophers have announced they will play the Alabama Crimson Tide in Minneapolis on September 18th, 2032, and in Tuscaloosa on September 17th, 2033.
Minnesota beat Alabama in the 2004 Music City Bowl 20-to-16 in what was the first and so far only meeting between the two schools.
