North Dakota State has finalized a home-and-home non-conference series with Tennessee State (Ohio Valley Conference) that will be played in 2024 and 2025.
The Bison will host the first meeting at the Fargodome on Sept. 7, 2024. NDSU will travel to Nashville to visit Tennessee State at Nissan Stadium on Sept. 6, 2025. Nissan Stadium is also home to the NFL’s Tennessee Titans. The Tigers and Titans have shared the 69,000 fan capacity stadium since 1999.
The two programs have never previously met before this two game agreement. The Tigers are coached by former Heisman Trophy winner Eddie George.
North Dakota State will also play in another NFL stadium as they open the 2023 schedule at the Minnesota Vikings’ home, U.S. Bank Stadium. That game will be played against Eastern Washington on Sept. 2, 2023.
