Hendricks joins Wild in player development role

The Minnesota Wild announced on Tuesday that Matt Hendricks has been named the teams Assistant Director of Player Development. The 38 year old Blaine MN native retired on Wednesday after playing 11 seasons in the NHL, he played 22 games for the Wild this past season before being traded to Winnipeg.

The Blaine, MN native played for 6 NHL teams following a standout career at St. Cloud State.
