Indianapolis, IN- After a fast start, the Minnesota Lynx had to sweat out a victory over the Indiana Fever 77-74 in Indianapolis on Tuesday night. Minnesota lead 43-23 at the half and lead by as many as 22 points before the Fever stormed back in the second half, scoring 24 of the next 30 points to tie it at 60.
The Lynx needed a big night from Odyssey Sims and they got it, Sims scored 25 points and knocked down two free throws in the final 30 seconds to preserve the Minnesota victory. The Lynx are now 6-5 on the season and sit in 3rd in the Western Conference behind league leading Seattle and Las Vegas. Next up for Minnesota is a visit to Dallas on Sunday.
