Rosario,Twins bats lead to victory over Rays

 

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - After having the night off on Monday the Twins exploded for 9 runs on 15 hits in Tuesday's 9-4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays.

Eddie Rosario went 4-5 with two RBI's, helping his case for a spot in All Star Game. Tuesday July 9th in Cleveland. Rays pitcher Blake Snell became the latest Cy Young winner to fall victim to the Twins this season, he allowed 11 hits in just over 3 innings. Kyle Gibson had a nice bounce back performance on the mound for the Twins and went 7 strong innings, picking up his 8th win on the season. Twins are now 51-27 and with the Cleveland Indians loss now have an 8 ½ game lead in the AL Central.
