The Fargo Invaders this week remember fallen teammate Johnny Grey, who passed away in a car accident on Sunday in West Fargo. Grey, 38, a Bismark native was a member of the Invaders team starting in 2018.
The Invaders issued the following statement on social media regarding their teammate.
"It is with an extremely heavy heart that we share the news of one of our Invader Family members passing. Johnny Grey. New to the team in 2018, he made a big impact in our community with what he brought to us in this short amount of time as a player, board member, and friend.
Please keep his wife Emma, daughter and rest of his family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. A fund has been established below with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the family. Once an Invader Always an Invader."
