21 turnovers cost Wolves in road loss to Phoenix

(Phoenix, AZ) -- Kevin Durant made his return to the lineup for the Suns in a 107-100 win over the Timberwolves in Phoenix.

Durant posted 16 points and eight rebounds in his first game in over three weeks due to a sprained ankle. Devin Booker poured in 29 points and Chris Paul added 19 for the Suns, who have won three straight. Phoenix remains fourth in the crowded Western Conference at 41-and-35, still just a half-game ahead of the Clippers.

Anthony Edwards dropped in a game-high 31 points for Minnesota, which saw its four-game winning streak come to an end. The Wolves sit seventh in the West at 39-and-38, but are now just a half-game ahead of the Lakers and Pelicans. Karl-Anthony Towns tallied 25 points in the setback. 

The Timberwolves will return home to the Target Center on Friday, March 31 to square off with the Los Angeles Lakers. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m.
