Lynx drop season opener to Sky

(Minneapolis, MN) — An anemic second quarter doomed the Minnesota Lynx as they opened the 2023 WNBA season with a 77-66 loss to the Chicago Sky at Target Center on Friday.

Minnesota was outscored 22-3 in the second period and was never able to recover in the second half. Napheesa Collier scored 17 points in the losing effort.

The 0-1 Lynx host the Dream Tuesday night.
