Twins swept out of Atlanta

On Wednesday afternoon the Minnesota Twins and Atlanta Braves squared off in their series finale.

The Twins were looking to avoid being swept, but the Braves had other plans. Kenta Maeda had a quality start for Minnesota, tossing five innings while only giving up two runs. He also struck out four batters, but was ultimately tagged with the loss falling to 1-5 on the season. The Twins only tallied four hits, with two coming from Willi Castro.

Matt Olson led the Braves with a 2-run homer, while Ozzie Albies also drove in a run on a double in the Braves victory.

The Twins have an off day on Thursday before beginning a weekend series at the Baltimore Orioles beginning on Friday night.
