(Minneapolis, MN) — Expectations are relatively high for the Minnesota Gophers program this season despite some significant roster turnover.
The Gophers were picked to finish third in the Big Ten West in the Big Ten media preseason poll. Minnesota got one first-place vote in the division and was behind only Wisconsin and Iowa.
The Gophers season kicks off on August 31st against Nebraska.
