Twins and Astros to square off in ALDS

(Houston, TX) — The Twins and Houston Astros go head-to-head in the American League Divisional Series starting tomorrow.

The Twins snapped an 18-game postseason losing streak with a win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday, and they earned their first playoff series win since 2002 with another victory against Toronto on Wednesday. The Twins surrendered just one run in the two-game sweep. The Astros swept Minnesota when the two teams met in the 2020 postseason, but the Twins won this year’s regular season series against Houston four games to two.

First pitch for Game One is Saturday at 3:45 p.m. Joe Ryan is Minnesota’s probable starter.
