Dexter Werner Signs Second Professional Contract

 Dexter Werner, former NDSU men's basketball player, played four season at NDSU.

 Former North Dakota State basketball standout Dexter Werner has signed a contract to play his second professional season for BBC Arantia Larochette in Larochette, Luxembourg.

Werner played his first pro season for Lokomotive Bernau in Germany’s ProB division in 2017-18. He was named the league’s Newcomer of the Year after averaging 15 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game.

Werner earned second-team All-Summit League honors for his senior season at NDSU in 2016-17 and was a two-time winner of the league’s Sixth Man of the Year award. He averaged 9.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.0 block per game over his final three seasons at NDSU, shooting better than 54 percent for his career.
