UConn dominates Purdue to secure second straight NCAA tournament championship

(Glendale, AZ) — UConn is celebrating a second straight men’s basektball national championship after blowing out Purdue 75-60 in the title game from Glendale.

Tristen Newton led the Huskies with 20 points as the team rode a six-point lead into the half and never looked back. UConn is the first program to repeat since Florida in 2007 and now has six NCAA Tournament championships. The Huskies officially end the season 37-3. Zach Edey led all scorers with 37 points for Purdue.
