NBA Playoffs Monday morning roundup

The field for the NBA conference finals is set.

The Minnesota Timberwolves downed the Denver Nuggets 98-90 in Game Seven of the Western Conference semifinals at Ball Arena. Karl-Anthony Towns led the way with 23 points and 12 rebounds to help Minnesota clinch a spot in the conference finals for the first time since 2004. Minnesota will battle the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals.

In the East, the Indiana Pacers crushed the New York Knicks 130-109 in Game Seven at Madison Square Garden. Tyrese Haliburton had 26 points and six assists to help the Pacers move on to their first conference finals appearance since 2014. Indiana will challenge the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
