Timberwolves defeat Mavericks to keep season alive

(Dallas, TX) -- The Timberwolves avoided elimination with a big win over the Mavericks in Game Four of the Western Conference Finals.

Minnesota defeated Dallas 105-100 at American Airlines Center. Anthony Edwards fell just shy of recording a triple-double, finishing with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists. Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in with 25 points while knocking down four-of-five attempts from three-point range. The T-Wolves now trail the Mavs in the best-of-seven series 3-1.

Game 5 will shift back to the Target Center in Minneapolis on Thursday night with tip set for 7:30 p.m. and game coverage available on TNT.
