Poor fourth inning costs RedHawks in loss to Explorers

A five-run fourth inning cost the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in a 9-5 loss to the Sioux City Explorers.

Drew Ward hit a home run and drove in 3 runs for Fargo-Moorhead in his first game of the season. Brenden Heiss had a tough outing, giving up six runs in three innings, eventually being tagged with the loss.

The RedHawks and Explorers will continue their series on Thursday night with first pitch set for 7:02 p.m.
