The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks were crushed by the Sioux Falls Canaries 13-4 on Sunday afternoon. The Canaries were powered by a seven run third inning and five run fifth inning.
Edinson Batista gave up eight runs over 3 1/3 innings, eventually being tagged with the loss. Henson Lead surrendered five runs (one earned) in 2 2/3 innings of relief. Justin Lopez, Mason Pelio, Tyler Jeans, and Tripp Clark each threw a scoreless inning.
Eric Filia, Tucupita Marcano, Tripp Clark, and Matt Kroon drove in a run apiece.
The RedHawks fell to a record of 41-38 on the season.
Fargo-Moorhead and Sioux Falls will conclude their series on Monday night. First pitch is scheduled for 7:02 p.m.
