Twins split doubleheader with White Sox

The Minnesota Twins split their doubleheader against the Chicago White Sox yesterday afternoon.

The White Sox edged out the Twins 3-1 in Game One

Bailey Ober gave up three runs over six innings of work and was tagged with the loss. Ober now has a record of 8-5 on the season. Matt Wallner hit a solo home run for Minnesota.


The Twins got their revenge in the second game defeating the White Sox 3-2.

Pablo Lopez tossed five innings giving up two runs while striking out five batters in a no decision. The bullpen threw four shutout innings capped off by Jhoan Duran’s 14th save of the season.

Brooks Lee and Carlos Correa each hit solo homers while Ryan Jeffers drove in a run on a base hit.

The Twins have an off day on Thursday before heading to San Francisco to begin a weekend series against the Giants on Friday night.
