(Grand Forks, ND) -- Police at the University of North Dakota are mourning the death of K9 Ben.
The department says Ben died Tuesday with his handler by his side. Officers say Ben helped get illegal drugs off the streets in his community.
He served from 2014 through February 2021 when he was diagnosed with cancer.
