Record warmth? Spring is here but for how long? Storm next week?

Spring is HERE but not to stay so enjoy this nice mild weather!!  Temps this weekend will approach record warmth although it WILL come along with quite a bit of wind.  After this weekend, our focus turns to next week.  I've put 2 maps up here.....one showing the latest model run of the European model and the other one showing yesterday's run.  Yesterday's model had a very potent storm for the valley for next week....the newer model run has a much weaker storm with NO snow.  So.....which one to believe?  Well when forecasting we look for consistency in the models.  The European keeps flip flopping while the American model has been consistent in bringing a big storm into the valley for next week.  I'm not quite sold on the American model, even though it has been pretty darn accurate this winter. This storm is still out in the Pacific and we should have a better handle on this storm over the weekend.  Get out and enjoy this mild weather this weekend!!!
