Past 48 Hour Snow Totals... When Will Warmth Return?

Widespread snow took over the area for the past couple of days bringing much-needed moisture across the state. F/M area picked up about 2 inches of accumulation after the initial snow melted. The highest accumulations were in northwestern MN and northern ND,

much of the area got about 1-4 inches of snow.

Cold cloudy weather has taken over as a slow-moving low sits in the north. Temps will continue to remain below average for the rest of the week with highs in the low to upper 40's. Some sun will return for our weekend with temps recovering to the upper 40's and mid 50's. But then temps crash back to the mid 30's and low 40's to start off next week. 70's will hold off for a while and below-average temperatures will continue into the end of April with periodical periods of warmth.
