Record COLD....Thursday pick day of the next 10!! Widespread rain next week?

Hey old man winter.....BEAT IT!!!  Record cold this morning at Grand Forks and record cold expected in F/M for Wed. AM.  As the chilly air mass slides eastward later this week, southerly winds will increase on Thursday and that will allow temps to warm up into the 60s.  That will be the warmest weather we see over the next 10 days!!  It looks like we are stuck in this cooler than normal pattern until early May!!  It looks like next week into the first week of May we enter a "stormier than normal" aka a WETTER weather pattern.   Next week a slow moving storm system looks like it will bring widespread rain to the valley.  Now, is this set in stone?  NO.....the main pattern is for these storms to pass to our south so far this spring so let's wait and see if the models are correct for next week.  Until then, get out and enjoy Thursday later this week!
