Mild Temperatures & Another Chance For Measurable Snow

Above average temperatures will trend through the rest of the week. With the warmer temperatures comes a few chances for snow. 

Today, high temperatures rise into the low to mid 30's across the southern valley and mid to upper 20's in the northern valley. Despite warmer temps and sunshine, it will still feel a little chillier with winds turning west and northwest through the day 10-25 mph and gusty at times. This will cause the wind chills to fall into the teens to low 20's. Tonight temps stay relatively mild, with lows in the teens. Wednesday will bring slightly cooler temps in the low 20's, lighter winds, and partly sunny skies. There is a slight chance of some light snow flurries or some light freezing drizzle overnight towards sunrise Thursday morning.

20's look to continue through the rest of the week, with winds starting to pick back up on Thursday (10-25). The next chance for some measurable snow comes overnight Thursday through Friday, then a slight chance for snow on Sunday.

This Friday snow system falls in line with the LRC, which has been oscillating in a 62-66 day cycle averaging about 63.5 days. So, according to the LRC, it looks like we could see one more impactful snow system (likely to fall somewhere between the 19-27th of January) with a couple of chances for relatively minor events through the rest of January. Then we turn our attention to February, which looks promising for winter weather!
