Blizzard warning and the stormy part of the LRC cycle and ND Northern lights

LRC predicted MONTHS ago of a potential storm mid February.....guess what....right on track as a winter storm tracks into the area for tonight into tomorrow with BLIZZARD conditions developing tonight after 8pm. Winds will gust over 50mph through Wednesday morning as the storm exits to our east.   Total snowfall expected to be around 1-3" of snow around the F/M area with 3-6 possible from around Lisbon-Sisseton-Fergus Falls.  There is a slight chance that heavier band could sneak a bit farther north toward the F/M area.  Regardless, winds whipping out of the north will produce blizzard conditions through mid morning on Wednesday.    Conditions quiet down by Wednesday evening and quiet weather sets up through the weekend with temps back into the 20s for the upcoming weekend.  Arctic air looks to return next week with the chance for more snow.
