BISMARCK, N.D. – North Dakota’s new high-speed internet access could advance telehealth.
With the plan to distribute broadband infrastructure grants the online medical services will be widely available across the state. Telehealth often saves rural patients time and money by allowing them to speak to a doctor over the internet. The state said its plan to distribute broadband infrastructure grants could make it the first state to achieve 100-percent connectivity by 2028.
