MINNESOTA – MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell announced on X he’s running for governor of Minnesota as a Republican.
“After prayerful consideration and hearing from so many of you across our great state, I’ve made the decision to enter the 2026 gubernatorial race. I’m still standing and I’ll stand for you,” Lindell wrote.
Lindell filed paperwork last week to create a campaign committee.
On The Flag in August, Lindell said if he wins the election to become governor, he’ll run the state like a business.
“I love Minnesota, I love our country and it’s what God wants me to do. We’re praying about it,” Lindell said on “What’s On Your Mind?”
“The GOP’s most recognizable election denier is stepping into a field already defined by extremism and loyalty to Trump over Minnesotans,” the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party wrote on social media in response to Lindell’s announcement.
Ten Republican candidates are running for the GOP endorsement for Minnesota governor.
