Fargo man brandishes pistol during Saturday morning robbery

FARGO, N.D. – Fargo Police have arrested a 60-year-old Fargo man after a robbery of a Fargo business Saturday morning.

At 11:35 a.m., police were called to a business in the 2400 block of University Drive South where a robbery had just taken place. The male suspect robbed the business by the suspect, who brandished a pistol and left the area on foot.

Fargo Police investigated the incident and determined the suspect to be Timothy Hampton. While looking for him, officers learned from a citizen that he was staying at a hotel in the area.

Hampton was located in the 1300 block of 21st Avenue South at a hotel. He was taken into custody without incident and taken to the Cass County Jail.

He’s facing a charge of Felony Robbery with a Firearm.
