MOORHEAD, Minn. (Valley News Live) – KidCo, a local children’s museum, announced it will permanently close its doors following a final day of operation on Saturday, March 28.

The closure marks the end of a three-year run serving families in the Red River Valley community.

“It is with a heavy but very full heart, we announce that this winter will be KidCo’s last,” the facility stated in its announcement on social media. “It has been an absolute dream come true to share this gift to our children with the entire community.”

The closure will not affect existing reservations or birthday party bookings. KidCo confirmed it will continue accepting birthday party reservations through the end of March 2026, ensuring that families with planned celebrations can proceed as scheduled.

All annual memberships will be prorated and refunded for months that cannot be redeemed following the closure. Customers with account balance inquiries have been directed to contact info@playkidco.com for assistance.

In an effort to provide customers with additional opportunities to use gift cards and enjoy the facility before closure, KidCo plans to offer special extended hours and events.

Those announcements will be shared through the KidCo Facebook page.
