ST PAUL, MINN. – Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar says she was denied access to a U.S. Federal Building in St. Paul.
“I was just denied access to the ICE processing center at the Whipple Building,” she said on X, formerly Twitter. “Members of Congress have a legal right and constitutional responsibility to conduct oversight where people are being detained.”
Omar was joined by Rep. Angie Craig.
The pair were initially let into the building, escorted in by federal agents.

The public deserves to know what is taking place in ICE facilities. https://t.co/xEWKx0fqMD
