It was a BITTER COLD start to the day today with wind chill readings between -40 to -50 below.

Although the weekend will be COLD and dangerously cold at that, Saturday will see “some” relief? Not much though:

Sunday with more wind, wind chills will be even colder:

Bottom line, bundle up, limit time outdoors but if you are outdoors, cover all extremities as you will get frost bite within 10 minutes to exposed skin.
It looks like this “cold snap” will last through the end of the month before some relief comes our way. I still don’t see any big storms in sight, however, the LRC DOES have a potential for a bigger storm Feb 6th – 8th. Stay tuned…..
