FARGO, N.D. – Dem-NPL State Representative Gretchen Dobervitch has announced 2026 will be the last year she represents her South Fargo district in Bismarck.
“It has been an honor to serve the people of District 11 and to work alongside dedicated colleagues on issues that directly impact the health and well-being of our communities,” Dobervich said in press release. “After thoughtful consideration, I have decided that the end of this term is the right time for me to step away from elected office.”
Dobervich has been in the North Dakota House since 2016. She says she has focused her work on health and human services, advocating for policies to strengthen public health, support families and improve access to essential services for North Dakotans.
Dobervitch and the Dem-NPL Party didn’t give a reason for her not seeking another term in office.
