MOORHEAD, MINN. — The Clay County Commission has approved a 2026 Local Homeless Prevention Aid contract with Community Action Partnership – Lakes and Prairies.
Quinn Jaeger, Social Service Director, told Commissioners that it’s a partnership between multiple agencies – including Moorhead Area Public Schools and Churches United for the Homeless.
“It’s great to see that level of collaboration from our partners in trying to combat homelessness for our students,” he said.
CAP – LP’s proposal focuses on three areas – outreach and housing nagivation services, shelter and targeted homeless student services.
