FARGO, N.D. – Fargo Public Schools will reach out to employees who could be impacted by budget cuts, reorganizations or reductions next week.
“That process is continuing to move along. We want to continue to be transparent and clear about where we’re at in that process and make sure that we’re continuing to seek feedback as we work our way through our budget reduction,” Superintendent Dr. Cory Steiner said at a school board meeting on Tuesday, February 10.
At a district planning committee meeting earlier this month, Steiner said the district is looking to cut its budget by $5.3 million which includes 56 positions.
