REGION – At the halfway point of Giving Hearts Day, more than $20 million has been raised.
More than 600 charities are participating in this year’s event.
There have been nearly 25,000 donors who have given towards this year’s event as of 12 p.m. Thursday.
Last year more than $31.4 million was raised, a record for the event that has been happening annually since 2008.
