Fargo woman helps organize search for missing West Fargo woman

FARGO, N.D. – A group of local residents are organizing a search party Sunday in hopes of recovering missing 25-year-old Isadora Wengel of West Fargo.

MahLeah Jiminez says this is her first time organizing an event of this magnitude.

“It is definitely a learning process very rapidly as time is of the essence,” she told Flag Family News. “But I am grateful that we have gotten such a huge response so far. And I think it’ll make it really worthwhile.”

People will gather Sunday afternoon. They’re asking volunteers to show up at the Dike East sledding hill parking lot on the Fargo side at 10 a.m.

Those who attend will receive a map.

“We will give each search party a highlighted portion that they will stick to so that we are all being very specific in the area that we are looking and we aren’t just overlapping general areas,” Jiminez said. “My goal with that is that we have enough turnout that so much of the Fargo area is completely encompassed with people searching for Isadora. Obviously, it can’t extend into the Minnesota side too far as we’re in Fargo.”
