Underground fault leads to power outage for more than 700 in West Fargo on Monday

WEST FARGO, N.D. – A Cass County Electric power outage Monay affected more than 700 customers of the cooperative.

According to Cass County Electric, the outage was reported along 32^nd Avenue West in West Fargo shortly after 1 p.m. After more than an hour’s time, a majority of the accounts reporting outages were restored.

Officials say an underground fault was the cause of the outage.
