CLAY COUNTY, Minn. – Clay County Commissioner Jenny Mongeau has announced she’s running for re-election.
She represents the county’s third district which includes, Barnesville, Comstock, Sabin and a portion of South Moorhead.
“I believe counties must have a strong voice,” Mongeau said. “When decisions at the state or federal level impact our ability to serve residents locally, I will continue to advocate for Clay County and ensure our community’s needs are clearly heard.”
Mongeau has been on the Clay County Commission for 12 years saying her priorities include strengthening services, investing in infrastructure and positioning Clay County to meet growing needs.
She will host a Coffee with the Commissioner event on Wednesday, February 25 from 7:00 to 9:30 a.m. at Twenty Below Coffee Co. in Moorhead.
