On Sunday, March 15, the North Dakota State women’s basketball was selected to play in the Women’s Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT).
The Bison were joined yesterday by Brigham Young, Utah, and Texas A&M as no. 1 seeds in the tournament. The first four teams excluded from the NCAA Tournament are given the top seeds in the WBIT.
NDSU (28-4) will host Chattanooga (20-10) in the opening round of the WBIT on Thursday at Scheels Arena. The tip-off time and ticket information are still to be determined.
