Wild fall to Blackhawks in St. Paul

The Minnesota Wild fell to the Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 on Thursday night. Even with the loss, the Wild won the regular season series 3-1.

Minnesota was without Kirill Kaprizov, Joel Eriksson Ek, and Marcus Foligno.

Nico Sturm scored his fifth goal of the season assisted by Hunter Haight and Brock Faber. Jesper Wallstedt saved 24 of the 26 shots he faced between the pipes.

Minnesota fell to a record of 39-19-12 on the season. The Wild will now host the Dallas Stars on Saturday. Puck drop is scheduled for 3 p.m. with game coverage available on FanDuel Sports Network North.
