FARGO, N.D. — A Fargo school board member enters the race for the City Commission.
Nikkie Gullickson announced Wednesday that she’ll seek a spot on the Commission this June.
Gullickson, who is in her second term on the school board, will prioritize working toward a fiscally responsible budget, supporting a vibrant business community and engaging with residents if elected.
She joins five others in vying for three open seats. Mayor Tim Mahoney has termed out, while Commissioners Denise Kolpack and Dave Piepkorn are running for mayor.
