Christensen Mineer announces Fargo school board reelection campaign

FARGO, N.D. – The president of the Fargo Board of Education is running for reelection.

Katie Christensen Mineer announced she’s seeking another term on the school board. She’s in her second year on the board and has led the district through its most recent search for a new superintendent after Dr. Rupak Gandhi left the district, paving the way for Dr. Cory Steiner to take the helm.

“My approach has been simple: show up, listen, and lead,” said Christensen Mineer. “I’ve had the opportunity to see educators in action, and it’s truly inspirational. They make learning engaging and joyful, like you’d want to be a student in their classroom. But I also know that behind the scenes, there are countless hours and incredible effort dedicated to perfecting that craft. I’m grateful for that work and want to continue providing the leadership and support our educators need, because our students and families deserve nothing less.”

She’s currently working for Planned Parenthood as its State Director.
