MINOT, N.D. – North Dakota Republicans have endorsed their first candidate as a part of business at this year’s state convention in Minot.
Deven Styczynski has been endorsed for the six-year term on the Public Service Commission, a position currently held by Sheri Haugen-Hoffart. Haugen-Hoffart was appointed in 2022.
Styczynski is one of two candidates who is being considered for an endorsement. The other is Alex Balasz, who is running for the state’s lone U.S. House seat against Republican incumbent Julie Fedorchak.
Flag Family News has reached out to Styczynski for comment but haven’t heard back as of the time of publishing of this story. We will update this story as soon as more information is available.
