Fargo City Commission hears review of food pushcart program

FARGO, N.D. – A recent survey regarding the food pushcart program in Fargo yielded positive results, but yet things to be worked on.

Nicole Crutchfield told the City Commission Monday night that, while the community overly supports the concept, some changes need to ultimately be made.

“More enforcement, better rules for separation from business owners in the brick-and-mortar businesses and stronger enforcement tools,” she said.

Crutchfield said one of the first tickets endorsed by a judge regarding food push carts happened recently.

She is working with the City Attorney to make changes to the program.
